Another day, another beautiful couple! These guys are just naturals in front of the camera. The camera LOVES them! And I was stoked that Kyle decided to wear COLOR… her orange sundress looked great at the beach.

Kyle and Kris are also very mellow and sweet. Im happy I got the chance to photograph their engagement bliss.

I’ve been doing a lot of engagement shoots this week, must be because it’s springtime and love is in the air! It was great meeting Teresa and Craig at the beach in Cardiff. They are Cardiff locals so we hung out on their own turf, they even brought their beach cruisers for a couple shots. I always love exploring other beaches and I sure had fun with these two… they were up for anything! Im lookin forward to their wedding happening at the La Valencia this Sept.

Every once in awhile you meet a couple that are just so comfortable and affectionate together, their love is so evident it just makes you smile. Jennifer and Jack are that couple. It was so easy and natural to photograph their engagement at Torrey Pines… they just flow without needing much direction. I feel like we captured some truly sacred moments of the two of them.

Every once in awhile I actually have time to take some pictures for myself! We had a chance to go to Anza Borrego and witness the wildflower explosion this year.

Soft morning light+ fields of colorful flowers= awesome photos

I carry this vision of lying in a field of flowers… I think from the Wizard of Oz!

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing the dynamic Angela… She wanted some headshots done and it was a beautiful day at Wind N’ Sea beach! I absolutely love this picture of her!

By the way, she had her hair done for the shoot by the fabulous girls over at Shayna the Salon!!!

Josie & Derek tie the knot

Josie and Derek got married last Saturday! They had a gorgeous ceremony at California’s first churchThe Mission de Alcala. Then a reception at The Admiral Kidd Club. They are just the nicest people… and so photogenic! Derek is an amateur photographer so he can appreciate the creative stuff! Both their families are super nice too- I just had the biggest smile all day.

YAY! My first wedding of the year… SO happy to be shooting weddings again~!
Leah and Drew were such a laid-backed couple, they were a breath of fresh air! The wedding was in Laguna Beach at the most beautiful location… and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. This couple definitely has a good time together- they were SO silly in front of the camera. Check out a few of the pics.
